Starbucks Korea is seeking to move on from its ‘Tank Day’ PR controversy with a new CEO for its third-largest market globally. Meanwhile, an internal investigation has shed light on the cause of the incident.

Shinsegae Group, the retail conglomerate that licenses Starbucks in South Korea, has promoted Shin Dong-woo, formerly head of its property division, to the leadership role three weeks after dismissing incumbent Son Jung-hyun.
