The Carlyle Group-backed coffee chain will return to the international stage four years after exiting China

Seoul-based café chain A Twosome Place is set to open its first US store in October 2026.

Founded in 2002 and owned by US private equity firm Carlyle Group since 2021, A Twosome Place operates more than 1,750 outlets in South Korea with a focus on premium coffee and desserts. It announced plans for a US launch in November 2025.
