As the nights draw in and cravings for nostalgia and comfort drive autumn footfall, LaSavista has curated a range to help operators drive profits

LaSavista, the premium foodservice brand behind a range of syrups, sauces, frappes and toppings, has created a five-strong range of products to help operators profit from a seasonal spike in demand for comforting drinks and desserts.

As summer turns to autumn, insight and trends show that consumers craving nostalgic flavours and comforting drinks and desserts will vote with their feet – and their wallets – beating a path to the doors of operators who can deliver on these with a fresh, elevated twist. Indeed, 51% of shoppers say comfort flavours influence their purchase decisions, according to Mosaic Flavors, whose latest seasonal research also finds that 63% of consumers associate autumn flavours with warmth and nostalgia.

The report also points to where comfort craving is heading next: pumpkin has matured past novelty, with the season’s strongest flavours now carrying the same cosy autumn feel, but with genuine culinary depth.

Moreover, the #fallaesthetic social media trend has already generated 1.6 million posts on TikTok, and with 84% of Gen Z actively trying food trends they have discovered directly from social media, operators have a clear commercial reason to get autumn menus right.

The five flavours – Pumpkin Pie Syrup, Belgian Dark Chocolate Dessert Sauce, Cinnamon Bun Beverage Sauce, Spiced Biscuit Crumb, and Dairy Frappe Powder – have been created to add a unique point of difference and help operators harness seasonal spend. Each is supplied ready to use, crafted from natural flavours, and comes with recipe inspiration to help coffee shops, quick-service restaurants and licensed venues create standout seasonal menus in just a few simple steps.

Beyond incredible flavour profiles, the range is designed to support the commercial side of the menu too. A higher concentration formulation means LaSavista syrups deliver up to 102% more serves per bottle and beverage sauces up to 50% more*, giving operators a straightforward route to better margin. Trend-led recipes help create new menu items that can unlock additional revenue, while eye-catching drinks and seasonal limited-time offers give customers more reasons to visit and to keep coming back throughout the season.

“The competition for high street spend is fierce, but the seasonal opportunity is ripe for operators that can turn a simple autumn menu item into a series of memorable moments. These flavours take established, nostalgic and well-loved staples and turn them on their head – delivering a true and flavoursome point of difference. The beverage landscape is shifting, and there’s real insight to back this up. Drinks can be hugely profitable for every operator and for this reason should never be an afterthought, particularly for quick-service restaurants and coffee shops looking to build repeat visits,” said Sam Warren, Brand Manager at LaSavista.

All five products are available to the foodservice trade now, with sample packs available on request.
