The US doughnut and coffee chain posted a $33.4m first quarter loss amid falling US sales and an underperforming McDonald’s partnership, and will use the $75m sale to reduce debts 

US donut and coffee chain Krispy Kreme has sold its remaining stake in Insomnia Cookies for $75m.
