Pret A Manger shores up supply chain amid growing global uncertainty
The UK coffee and food-to-go chain’s first Chief Supply Chain Officer, Stefan Porter, brings extensive supply chain and global purchasing experience to the business from spells at hospitality group Azzurri and supermarket giant Lidl. The new position will play a key role in supporting Pret’s global growth ambitions, which include plans to double its UK footprint to 1,000 stores and nearly triple its US estate to 150 outlets.

Caribou Coffee announces flurry of new senior hires as part of ongoing leadership restructure
Minnesota-based Caribou Coffee has added supply chain, marketing, real estate and technology expertise to its executive leadership team. Among the new hires is former Starbucks Director of Store Development Kyley Yanker, who takes on the newly created VP of Market Development and Real Estate position, and ex Dunn Brothers Coffee marketing executive Kristen Goldberg, who assumes responsibility for Caribou’s brand marketing strategy and creative functions.
