BKR bets on QSR food for Tim Hortons’ Korea bounce back

It may be known as a coffee chain, but breakfast, lunch, and snacks are also a vital part of Tim Hortons’ appeal around the world  

At the start of 2026, Tim Hortons’ Korean franchisee BKR outlined plans to double the Canadian coffee chain’s footprint to 50 stores by the end of the year.  

That’s no mean feat in one of East Asia’s busiest branded coffee shop markets, which is dominated by established players Ediya Coffee, Starbucks, Compose Coffee and Mega Coffee.
