Seoul-based Paris Baguette is one of the largest recognisable bakery-café chains in the world – with more than 3,750 stores in South Korea and a further 730 outlets across 15 international markets.

But while the premium operator is gaining significant traction in some key markets abroad – notably the US and China – it is struggling in others.
