The sustainability-focused coffee roaster follows Costa Coffee and Grind in signing a major airline contract and will see its packaged coffee bags sold on flights from 20 airports across the UK and Ireland

Paddy & Scott’s has announced a new partnership with TUI, which will see its coffee sold on all flights from the UK and Ireland.

The Ipswich-based coffee roaster has created a new blend specifically for TUI called Adventure Coffee, which comes in cappuccino and americano brew bags – priced at €3.90 and €3.80 respectively. TUI, which flies 12 million passengers from 20 airports in the UK and Ireland annually, will also sell a seven-pack box of Paddy & Scott’s coffee bags onboard its flights.

“Being approached by TUI to create a completely new coffee offering for their inflight experience is just fantastic. For a big organisation like TUI to work with a smaller one like ours to create real, sustainable social and environmental impact is a sign that the world is changing in a wonderful way. We’re looking forward to inspiring 12 million people this year with the incredible work we’re doing in coffee-growing regions and are very proud of the impact this partnership will have globally,” said Jon Reed, CEO, Paddy & Scott’s.

Founded in 2007, Paddy & Scott’s primarily sources coffee from Brazil and Kenya, where it has a commercial joint venture and direct trade partnership with the Muchomba family in Meru. The coffee roaster reinvests in coffee growing communities by funding school meals for children, providing dignity packs for young women and supporting local community initiatives.

Alongside its wholesale, DTC and private label businesses, Paddy & Scott’s also operates four coffee shops across East Anglia.

TUI is the latest UK airline to enhance its onboard coffee offer. In May 2024, British Airways began serving coffee from specialty roaster Grind on all European flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, while Costa Coffee has formed partnerships with low-cost airlines easyJet and Jet2 within the last 12 months.
