Nominations have opened for the European Coffee & Hospitality Awards 2026, which takes place on 25 November 2026 at the JW Marriott Berlin.

Part of the European Coffee Symposium + COHO Expo (ECS+COHO) programme of events, the European Coffee & Hospitality Awards recognise the brands setting the standard across the European coffee and hospitality industries – from scaled chains and ambitious independents to roasters, equipment manufacturers, operators and suppliers.

Nominations are open until 21 August 2026, after which nominees will be shortlisted into the European Coffee & Hospitality Top 200 Brands — a definitive index of the businesses shaping the sector. Industry-wide voting will then commence in September 2026, with winners announced during a black-tie gala dinner in Berlin.

The 2026 Awards span 20 categories, with five new categories introduced this year to better reflect the changing nature of the European coffee and hospitality industries. Alongside established categories such as Best European Coffee Chain, Best European Specialty Coffee Roaster and Most Sustainable Brand, this year’s event will also recognise Contract Caterer of the Year, Forecourt/Travel Brand of the Year, QSR/Fast-Casual Restaurant of the Year, European Distributor of the Year, and Workspace Operator of the Year.

“Five new Operator Award categories go live this year, because European coffee and hospitality has expanded well beyond the traditional coffee shop. Nominations are open from today, and the strongest brands will earn their place on the Top 200,” said Ludovic Rossignol, Chief Event Officer at event organiser Coffee Ventures Europe.

First launched in 2009, the European Coffee & Hospitality Awards recognise excellence across the full breadth of Europe’s coffee and hospitality sector.

ECS+COHO is Europe’s leading event for coffee and hospitality professionals, bringing together more than 2,500 senior decision-makers from 52 countries, representing over €6bn ($6.8bn) in collective annual buying power and 90,000+ European outlets.

ECS+COHO takes place 24–26 November 2026 at the JW Marriott Berlin.
