The Latvian specialty coffee group has expanded to four European markets over the last 15 months

New European stores have delivered robust revenue growth for Latvia’s Kalve Coffee, but with operations abroad yet to break even, its bottom line is feeling the strain.

The Riga-based specialty coffee group expanded to neighbouring Estonia and Lithuania in 2025, before pushing into Western Europe with launches in France and Portugal in the first half of 2026.
