The J.M. Smucker-owned retail coffee brand will operate a coffee bar at the Florida-based soccer team’s new stadium, which is set to open next year

Florida-based packaged coffee brand Café Bustelo has extended its partnership with US soccer team, Inter Miami FC.

Café Bustelo, owned by US coffee, food and pet food manufacturer J.M. Smucker, has been the Official Coffee and Espresso partner for Inter Miami since 2022. The renewed collaboration comes as Inter Miami prepares to move into its new Miami Freedom Park stadium in 2026, which will feature a Café Bustelo Bar & Ventanita – serving hot and iced espresso beverages alongside a range of pastries, desserts and alcohol.

The partnership will also include brand activations and in-stadium advertising opportunities.

“As we look forward to our move to Miami Freedom Park in 2026, we are thrilled to continue growing this partnership for the long term with a brand that is an undeniable staple of our beautiful South Florida,” said Euan Warren, Vice President of Partnerships, Inter Miami.

Founded in 1928, Café Bustelo has been owned by Ohio-based J.M. Smucker since 2011. The brand, popular among the country’s large Hispanic population, produces a wide range of wholebean, ground and single-serve packaged coffees, as well as ready-to-drink (RTD) cans, which it sells via scaled US retailers Target and 7-Eleven.

In August 2025, J.M. Smucker implemented a fourth price hike in 12 months on its portfolio of packaged coffee brands, which also includes Folgers and licensed Dunkin’ at Home packaged coffee ranges, amid record-high green coffee costs and US trade tariffs. Despite the rise, Café Bustelo was highlighted as a key performer in J.M. Smucker’s full-year earnings, with 19% year-on-year sales growth during the 12 months ended 30 April 2025 to reach $400m.

Founded in 2018 and owned by former England football captain David Beckham, Inter Miami has competed in Major League Soccer (MLS) since 2020. The club is reportedly worth $1.2bn, with its valuation rising significantly after signing Argentinian football captain Lionel Messi in 2023.
