The deal creates a global coffee powerhouse with combined revenues of nearly $16bn, 130 coffee brands and a vast international production and supply chain network 

US beverages giant Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) has closed its $18bn acquisition of JDE Peet’s, paving the way to create a global cross-channel coffee powerhouse.

The deal, first announced in August 2025, was completed just days after Texas-based KDP announced it had acquired 96.22% of JDE Peet’s shares and represents the largest coffee acquisition ever made.
