Löfbergs has signed a two-year agreement with Swedish hotel group Scandic to supply 280 venues across the Nordics.

Stockholm-based Scandic began serving sustainably certified coffee from Löfbergs across its hotels in Sweden in 1996 and Finland in 2012. The new deal runs until 2027 and includes Scandic’s 27 hotels in Denmark for the first time.

“We are very pleased that our long-standing relationship with Scandic continues. Gaining their trust in Denmark as well is a positive development. It confirms that our focus on taste experiences, service, and sustainability is appreciated in multiple markets,” said Anders Fredriksson, CEO, Löfbergs.

Scandic is the one of the largest hotel operators in the Nordics. Alongside its hotels in Sweden, Finland and Denmark, the group also has sites in Norway, Germany and Poland.

The supply deal comes two months after Löfbergs extended its agreement Danish hotel group Strawberry to supply 240 venues across the Nordics until 2027.

Founded in 1906, Löfbergs is one of the largest family-owned coffee roasters in the Nordics and one of the world’s largest purchasers of organic and Fairtrade-labelled coffee, producing 12 million cups of coffee per day via its Löfbergs, Peter Larsen Kaffe and Kobbs brands.
