US coffee industry urges Trump to keep Brazilian coffee tariff-free as market braces for further price shock

The National Coffee Association wants to protect an exemption that US operators say is essential to the health of a market already under severe pricing strain

The National Coffee Association (NCA) has asked the Trump administration to maintain the tariff-free status of Brazilian green coffee imports and extend that exemption to instant coffee during public consultations on tariffs for a range of Brazilian products.
