Bali welcomed record tourist footfall last year and should prove a lucrative market for the Istanbul-based specialty coffee chain, which has lofty ambitions to more than double its global footprint over the next 12 months

Espressolab is no stranger to opening stores in high-footfall, tourist hotspots. Beyond its home city of Istanbul, the Turkish specialty coffee chain also has outlets in Dubai, Doha, Casablanca and Lisbon.

Now, as part of its strategy to reach 1,000 stores globally by 2027, Espressolab has launched in Southeast Asia for the first time with an outlet on the Indonesian island of Bali – a must-visit destination for travellers seeking sun, sea, and increasingly: specialty coffee.
