The move is the latest initiative by CEO Brian Niccol to re-establish the Seattle-based coffee chain as a ‘community coffeehouse’ by streamlining US store processes and prioritising longer dwell time visits

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol has announced plans to phase out the coffee chain’s “overly transactional” mobile order and pickup-only sites in the US by the end of 2025.
