The Filipino small-format operator is on course to become the country’s largest branded coffee chain after overtaking a key international competitor by outlets

Homegrown operator Pickup Coffee has set its sights on becoming the largest branded coffee chain in the Philippines by the end of this year.

Founded in 2022, the Makati-based coffee chain reached 500 stores in its home market during the first quarter of 2026, wooing price-conscious consumers with espresso-based beverages from ₱50 ($0.89) and rapidly deploying small-format stores in high-footfall shopping centres and business districts.
