The French-inspired bakery-café chain has grown its North America footprint fivefold since first onboarding private equity backing in late 2020

New York-based Maman has raised new private equity investment to scale its boutique bakery-cafés across North America.

Founded in 2014 by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, Maman (French for mother) currently operates 54 outlets across nine US states and has two international sites in Canada.
