As Founder Jonathan Rubinstein steps into a new leadership role, he is succeeded by one of the pioneering specialty coffee group’s longest-serving employees

More than two decades after launching the revered New York-based specialty coffee group Joe Coffee, Founder Jonathan Rubinstein is stepping down from his role as CEO.

From a single site on the corner of Waverly Place in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, Joe Coffee now operates 24 outlets across New York – including prominent sites at Grand Central, Union Square and the TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport.
