Italy’s Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group (MZB Group) could soon be under new ownership after its founder Massimo Zanetti confirmed the coffee group had attracted interest from half a dozen private equity firms.

Founded in 1973, MZB Group manages a portfolio of over 40 coffee and tea brands, including Segafredo Zanetti, Boncafé and Chock full o’Nuts. The business has a presence in more than 110 markets and operates 21 coffee roasteries globally.
