The North Carolina-based doughnut and coffee chain continues to build out its international capital-light franchise network, following agreements in the Netherlands and Estonia last quarter

Krispy Kreme is continuing efforts to regain the initiative amid a major international restructure following a more than half-a-billion-dollar loss in 2025.

A third planned market launch in as many months follows a capital-light franchising strategy that is central to the US doughnut and coffee chain’s turnaround.

Krispy Kreme currently operates more than 1,300 outlets across 42 markets globally.
