The US fruit and vegetable distributor’s MENA subsidiary will supply Café Najjar coffee to hospitality businesses across the Middle East and North Africa as it seeks to utilise its distribution network capacity amid rising logistic costs
US fruit and vegetable distribution company Fresh Del Monte has partnered with Café Najjar to supply the Lebanese roaster’s freshly ground and vacuum coffee products to cafés, hotels and restaurants across the Middle East and North Africa.
“Fresh Del Monte has an extensive range of institutional and food service packs for sectors such as retail/FMCG and HORECA business partners. We saw Café Najjar as a perfect partner for our business because they also use their passion as a key driver to always achieve something exceptional and maintain consumers’ trust from one generation to another,” said Racha El Aawar, Regional Marketing Director, MENA, Fresh Del Monte.
In addition to its range of branded coffee, Café Najjar operates 14 La Maison du Café outlets across the MENA region.

The Café Najjar partnership follows recent Fresh Del Monte agreements in the US to maximise capacity within its existing warehouse and fleet network to alleviate shipping disruption for third-party clients.
The company announced a deal with Stord in July 2022 that will see the Atlanta-based cloud supply chain firm use Fresh Del Monte’s cold storage infrastructure. In the same month Fresh Del Monte said it would expand its agreement with Happy Egg Co to enable the egg producer use of its fleet and temperature-controlled warehouses to distribute and fulfill orders across the US.
