The bakery-café market leader is investing in store and menu upgrades in a bid to become Poland’s go-to beverage and patisserie destination

Polish bakery-café chain Cukiernia Sowa has announced a multi-million-euro investment in store upgrades and menu innovation to boost customer dwell time and better cater to younger consumers across the country.

Founded in 1946, Cukiernia Sowa is one of Poland’s oldest and largest branded coffee chains with 175 stores in 15 of Poland’s 16 regions, or voivodeships. Two-thirds of its outlets are franchised, with a focus on high-footfall shopping centres.
