China’s Chagee launches in the US after IPO success

Chagee’s Los Angeles store comes hot on the heels of a Nasdaq listing that valued the company at $5.1bn and made its 30-year-old founder a billionaire

Chinese tea chain Chagee has made its US debut with a Los Angeles’ Westfield Century City mall store. Trading alongside South Korean desert chain, Knotted, and Chamberlain Coffee, the store will serve Chagee’s signature beverage range, including peach oolong tea lattes, blended caramel tea frappes and roasted oolong tea.
