An engineer by training and a well-travelled supply chain management consultant, Carlos Bitencourt has taken the road less travelled to lead one of Italy’s most respected specialty coffee businesses.

The former KPMG and Boston Consulting Group executive founded Cafezal Specialty Coffee Roasters in the heart of Milan in 2017 and today takes a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business – from coffee sourcing and operations, to crowdfunding and outlet expansion.
