Starbucks’ turnaround is designed to bring customers back into its coffeehouses. Under CEO Brian Niccol, the company has restored seating, improved staffing and service standards and invested in the human connection that once defined the brand.

Yet as Starbucks reported its fourth consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales, delivery remained an important part of the recovery.
