In May 2025, British department store chain John Lewis announced plans to expand its in-store café and restaurant footprint amid a spike in hospitality sales. Twelve months later, following a multi-million-pound investment in its in-store dining offer, the premium retail group has unveiled a new own-brand café and restaurant concept, Platter John Lewis.
