1. UK coffee chain secures second multi-million-pound investment
Cheshire-based The Coffee House has secured £7m ($9.3m) from entrepreneur and investor Andy Bell and his former business partner Fergus Lyons to accelerate outlet growth and expand beyond its Northern heartland.

The new investment follows a £4m ($5m) fundraise from the same backers in May 2024 – capital that has enabled The Coffee House to double its estate to 42 stores.
