The operator’s transition from an affordable café chain to a broader hospitality group is boosting revenues, but coffee remains central to its growth strategy

It has been a busy few months for Louisa Coffee as it seeks to compete on multiple fronts.

The Taipei-based coffee and hospitality group has announced investment in at least 30 new company-owned cafés in its home market by the end of this year as it seeks to keep pace with Taiwanese branded coffee shop leader Starbucks, which has 600 stores.
