PJ’s Coffee the latest US operator to scrap non-dairy surcharge amid PETA pressure

The brand trialled serving soy, almond, oat and coconut dairy alternatives at no extra charge at select stores in July 2025 and will implement the change across all 192 US sites by the end of 2025

Louisiana-based PJ’s Coffee has become the latest in a long line of US coffee chains to scrap its non-dairy surcharge following pressure from animal rights campaign group, PETA.
