The value-focused coffee chain continues to grow its sprawling estate of small-format, takeaway-focused outlets
In 2025, Beijing-based Luckin Coffee opened a staggering 8,600 new outlets in China to strengthen its position as the country’s largest branded coffee chain.
It is now on course to eclipse that feat in 2026, after opening 5,200 net new sites in its home market across the first half of the year – including 2,668 in the second quarter.
