Germany overtakes the US as the largest importer of Brazilian coffee

Brazilian coffee exports to the US fell 46% year-on-year last month, following the Trump administration’s 50% trade levy on goods from the South American country 

Germany overtook the US as the largest importer of Brazilian coffee in August 2025, as the Trump administration’s trade tariffs continue to impact global coffee trade.
