The Italian coffee roaster has been the Official Coffee Partner of the London-based tennis tournament since 2011
Wimbledon is famous for its immaculate grass courts, all-white dress code, strawberries and cream, and for the last 15 years, Lavazza coffee.
As the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament gears up for its finals weekend, the Italian coffee roaster has announced a multi-year extension of its iconic partnership with The Championships, Wimbledon.
Turin-based Lavazza first partnered with Wimbledon in 2011 – a collaboration which has led to a portfolio of tennis tournament sponsorships, including Roland-Garros in France, the US Open, China’s The Rolex Shanghai Masters, and, as of May 2026, the Italian Open.
The coffee roaster, which last extended its contract with Wimbledon in July 2022, did not disclose the length of the latest renewal.
In a press release, Lavazza said Wimbledon is the cornerstone of its global sports partnership strategy. Nearly 550,000 spectators attended the UK tournament in 2025. As the Official Coffee Partner of the event, Lavazza operates four on-site cafés and kiosks, with its coffee also served across 80 further service points, kiosks, and eateries throughout the grounds.
“Wimbledon is synonymous with excellence, performance and global appeal – qualities that strongly resonate and overlap with Lavazza. Renewing this partnership reflects our long-term commitment to tennis and our ambition to continue elevating the fan experience at one of the sport’s most prestigious events,” said Carlo Colpo, Chief Marketing Officer, Lavazza Group.
The renewal comes as Lavazza Brand Ambassador Jannik Sinner seeks to reach a second consecutive Wimbledon final, having won the tournament for the first time in 2025. The Italian tennis player, a Brand Ambassador since 2019, extended his association with Lavazza until 2030 in November 2025.
