The partnership will see the Munich-based coffee chain’s logo displayed on all national team hockey jerseys and includes sponsorship of the European Indoor Hockey Championships in Heidelberg next year
Munich-based Coffee Fellows has been named as the Official Premium and Hospitality Partner of the German Hockey Federation (DHB).
The partnership will see Coffee Fellows’ logo displayed on the jerseys of Germany’s men’s and women’s national hockey teams, as well as sponsorship of the European Indoor Hockey Championships in Heidelberg in January 2026 and the Pro League in Berlin the following June.
Coffee Fellows will promote the partnership across its 240 coffee shops in Germany and participate in joint marketing campaigns at DHB-organised events. The sponsorship also extends to Coffee Fellows’ 13-strong hotel business, which will offer discounted accommodation for DHB’s youth hockey teams.
“Hockey stands for fairness, teamwork, and passion – values that also play a major role for us at Coffee Fellows. We are delighted to support the national teams and contribute to the promotion of hockey in Germany,” said Stefan Tewes, Founder of Coffee Fellows and a gold medal hockey player for Germany at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
Founded in 1999, Coffee Fellows is one of Germany’s largest coffee chains and also operates 40 international stores across 11 markets globally.
