New growth strategy forms part of a 10-year licensing deal between the Canadian restaurant group and UK food-to-go and coffee chain

It has been over two years since Pret A Manger signed a 10-year development agreement with restaurant chain A&W to scale across Canada.

The UK-based food-to-go and coffee chain has traded in Canada since July 2022, opening a handful of concession sites within A&W restaurants in Vancouver and Toronto before launching its first bricks-and-mortar outlet in January 2024.
