UK coffee and hospitality businesses could soon be hiring more staff from EU countries following a landmark trade agreement that will also reduce border checks on food.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer hailed the deal as a “new era” in EU relations after the UK formally left the bloc in 2020.
