The value-focused coffee chain has become the Official Coffee Partner of the Romanian Cycling Federation, adding to recent tie-ups with Romania’s national football and tennis bodies

5 to go has announced a new partnership with the Romanian Cycling Federation, to boost brand visibility for its Italian Sparkling Espresso ready-to-drink (RTD) product.

The one-year agreement will begin this summer, and will see 5 to go attain branding, marketing and product distribution at events run by the group.

As Official Coffee Partner, 5 to go’s Italian Sparkling Espresso RTD – launched in the second quarter of 2023 – has also been named the Official Beverage of the federation.

“We’re excited to bring 5 to go closer to the sports community and increase the brand’s visibility at key events,” said Radu Savopol, Co-Founder, 5 to go.

The Romanian Cycling Federation partnership comes four months after 5 to go extended its sponsorship of the Romanian Football Federation until 2031 and signed a five-year partnership with the Romanian Tennis Federation.

Founded in 2015, 5 to go is Romania’s largest coffee chain, with over 600 locations. The value-focused coffee chain, which also operates a handful of international stores in Bulgaria, Hungary and Moldova, was acquired by private equity firm INVENIO Partners and growth capital provider Accession Capital Partners (ACP) in December 2024 to support European expansion.
