Mega Coffee parent company under fire following fair trade fine

The 3,500-store South Korean coffee chain, which is almost entirely franchised, was found to have overcharged licensees for equipment purchases and gift card commissions by South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission

The parent company of South Korea’s Mega Coffee has been hit with a ₩2.29bn ($1.6m) fine for unlawfully charging franchisees additional costs.
