The specialty coffee roaster and café chain adds to a Irish Rugby Football Union supply deal by partnering with Dublin-based Leinster Rugby
Irish specialty coffee group 3FE has been named as the Official Coffee of Leinster Rugby.
Founded in 2009 by four-time Irish barista Champion Colin Harmon, 3FE – which stands for Third Floor Espresso – currently operates a roastery and eight coffee shops across Dublin, including prominent sites at the city’s International Financial Services Centre and high-footfall Grand Canal Dock.
The partnership with Leinster will see 3FE supply coffee to the rugby club’s headquarters at University College Dublin (UCD), with bespoke media content, fan-focused activations and special product launches also included as part of the deal.
In a press release, 3FE said the partnership will boost brand exposure at a time when it is seeking to expand its footprint.
“We’re excited to not only provide great coffee to the team but also become a small part of one of the world’s best rugby organisations, which we can learn so much from as we grow the business,” Harmon said.
The Leinster partnership is not 3FE’s first affiliation with rugby in Ireland. The specialty coffee group has been the Official Coffee Supplier to the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) since February 2023, and sells a whole bean packaged IRFU Blend as part of the partnership.
