EU Environment Commissioner Jessika Roswall cited IT data capacity concerns as being behind the proposed postponement, which has drawn criticism from environmental groups 

The European Commission has proposed a further 12-month delay to the implementation of its EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) legislation, citing concerns over the readiness of its IT infrastructure.
