Italy’s Simonelli Group has opened a new Shanghai branch to support sales, technical assistance and training in China and Hong Kong.   
 

Simonelli Group, which produces professional coffee machines and grinders under the Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino brands, said the Nuova Distribution China site will strengthen its distribution network in Asia Pacific, where it also operates branches in Singapore and Melbourne, Australia. 

The office houses an experience lab alongside sales and technical support offices and will enhance Simonelli Group’s distribution efficiency. 

“The decision to open in Shanghai, after the openings in Dubai, Melbourne, London, Lyon, Singapore, and Seattle, is based on our human-oriented relationship with the market. We will continue contributing to the growth of Chinese and Hong Kong coffee market with our innovations, educational approaches, and sustainable ways,” said Marco Feliziani, CEO, Simonelli Group.  

Nuova Distribution China has been established in partnership with Shanghai Penini Import & Export Trading Co., Ltd. Simonelli Group has also mooted plans to open showrooms in Guangzhou, Beijing and Chengdu to boost its presence in the Chinese market.
