Pret A Manger’s franchise partner One PM Holding has partnered with Al Mana Holding to grant sub franchising rights to launch the coffee and food-to-go chain in Qatar.

The UK-based coffee and food-to-go chain currently operates across in Kuwait via One PM Holding, which it partnered with in November 2021.

Al Mana Holding currently manages 55 brands across the automotive, engineering, food and beverage and real estate industries. This includes franchised stores of Caribou Coffee in Qatar, alongside outlets of Cinnabon, Subway and Wendy’s.

“We’re thrilled to partner with One PM holding to bring the iconic British food and coffee brand Pret A Manger to Qatar and look forward to launching and expanding its presence in the Qatari market.  We are confident we can bring Pret to more people through their freshly made food and organic coffee offering,” said Abdulrahman Hamad Al Mana, Deputy CEO, Al Mana Holding.

World Coffee Portal research shows the total Qatari branded coffee shop market is the sixth largest across the MENA region at 400 outlets.

“We’re committed to bringing our freshly made food and organic coffee to more people through our ambitious international growth plans. Following the success we’ve had throughout Asia and the Middle East, we know there is high demand for our delicious food and we are pleased to continue growing in the region,” said Eira Jarvis, Managing Director, Asia, Pret A Manger.

In September 2021, Pret A Manger, which currently operates more than 550 stores across 10 countries, announced plans to double the size of its business within five years.

In October 2022 the coffee and food-to-go chain opened its first store in Kuwait at the Al Hamra Business Tower, via One PM.
