Caffè Vergnano is seeking to tap into new opportunities in the UAE and wider Middle East market after entering an exclusive distribution partnership with hospitality solutions provider STREE.
 
The terms of the deal will see Caffè Vergnano distribute its Horeca coffee range, which includes the CLASSIC LINE and 1882 LINE to restaurants and hotels.
 
“The United Arab Emirates joins over 90 countries in which customers can now experience and enjoy Caffè Vergnano and we look forward to expanding our presence in the region,” said Caffè Vergnano CEO, Carolina Vergnano.
 
“Partnering with Caffe’ Vergnano not only means being able to offer an enhanced hospitality experience to customers. It gives those fine restaurants and hotels access to all the elements that make the experience of our coffee so special, Vergnano added.
 
STREE is a Dubai-based conglomerate with interests in real estate, facilities management, food & beverages, metals and education. The company’s F&B business supplies coffee, equipment and training services to hospitality businesses, offices and direct to consumers.

Caffè Vergnano roasts and distributes coffee to hotels, bars, cafés, hospitality venues and to consumers in 90 countries. It also operates 170 Caffè Vergnano 1882 coffee shops worldwide.
 
In June 2021, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) acquired a 30% minority stake in the business and entered into an exclusive distribution agreement to distribute Caffè Vergnano in markets outside of Italy.
 
Caffè Vergnano began distributing to hospitality clients an consumers in Austria and Ireland in 2022 and is also targeting significant growth in the Hungarian market.
