Biggby Coffee has reported robust franchise growth in its first quarter as it targets 1,000 US stores by the end of 2028.

The Michigan-based franchise opened 10 new stores in the first three months of 2024 to reach 392 sites across the US, signed 15 new leases and agreed 12 new franchise deals.

Biggby Coffee has more than 140 stores currently in development.

“We are excited about the momentum we’re building, especially in new markets. The commitment we see from our franchisees, both new and existing, is a testament to the strength and appeal of the Biggby brand,” said Tony DePietro, Vice President of Emerging Markets, Biggby Coffee.
