Sydney-based specialty coffee roaster and café chain Toby’s Estate has broadened its domestic reach with a new flagship outlet in Brisbane.

Designed by Melbourne architecture firm Russell & George, the site features a central coffee bar offering espresso and filter coffee alongside a training bar for customers to observe the brewing process and interact with baristas.

The coffee menu includes Toby’s Estate’s limited-edition Flavour Savour blends – a diverse range of single origin coffees – and Freezus, the brand’s ready-to-freeze coffee for the at-home and retail markets.

“Like most Aussies, Queenslanders love quality coffee. We’ve had a strong following there for many years, so we thought it was time to give them a chance to encounter our full coffee experience delivered in the Toby’s way,” said Jody Leslie, General Manager, Toby’s Estate.

Founded in 1998, Toby’s Estate has 16 outlets across Sydney and supplies more than 800 cafés across Australia. The specialty coffee roaster previously operated an espresso bar in Brisbane which shuttered at the outset of the pandemic in 2019.

Toby’s Estate also operates 22 sites across the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore, alongside 19 licensed outlets in the Middle East via a partnership with Kuwait-based Pinnacle Group
