Dubai-based AG Café has reached 300 Tim Hortons stores across the Middle East and India.
The franchisee opened its first Tim Hortons store in the Middle East in Dubai in 2011 and currently operates 285 outlets across six markets in the region.
A joint venture between UAE-based retail conglomerate Apparel Group and investment company Gateway Partners, AG Café also operates 22 Tim Hortons stores in India, where it debuted with two sites in New Delhi in August 2022.
The franchisee opened nine new Tim Hortons stores in September 2023 – four in Saudi Arabia, two in India and single stores in Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. It also operates Tim Hortons stores in the UAE and Kuwait.
“This achievement not only signifies our unwavering dedication to growth but also the deep bond and resonance Tim Hortons shares with the communities we serve. As we touch this remarkable milestone, we envision an even stronger future, deeply rooted in the values and culture of every region,” said Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group.
In December 2022, Tim Hortons announced plans to reach 500 stores across the Middle East by 2025. Additionally, the coffee chain has a goal of opening 120 stores in India in the next three years, backed by up to Rs 300 crore ($37m) investment.
