First announced at HOST 2021 and designed by Valerio Cometti, LaCimbaliM200 is the new top-of-the-line machine from the Group that revolutionises an entire category of espresso machines. With its unique linear design, sophisticated technology, and robust sustainable materials, the product marks a new era in professional machines.  

Launched just last year, the M200 has won the hearts of coffee enthusiasts worldwide – securing global recognition at the 2022 MICE Design&Innovation Awards by being granted  ‘Coffee preparation equipment’ of the year.  

Marking its 12th consecutive participation, The London Coffee Festival will be an excellent platform for the brand given that as many as 30,000 coffee industry professionals and enthusiasts are expected to come together for a four-day celebration of all things coffee.  
 

Professionals will enjoy its unique BDS system, which allows the barista to control and adjust the brew temperature to their liking. The machine also features the Turbosteam Milk 4 Cold Touch system, repositioned and elongated to better the ergonomics from its predecessor LaCimbaliM100s, making it easier for baristas to create the perfect micro-foam for latte art.  

In addition, the M200 allows considerable energy savings, both with the dedicated Energy Saving mode that reduces electrical consumption by 50% in times of low productivity and the independent boiler system that saves 40% energy in the ‘Ready to Use’ mode. This function has been included by Cimbali to reduce energy consumption and therefore pursue its wider Group's sustainability goals.  

The M200 is a ‘smart machine’, one of Cimbali’s most recent forays into the Internet of Things (IoT) market. The machine has a touch interface and technologies, such as the Multi boiler and PGS system, which improve performance and simplify the work of all professionals. It comes with a completely reworked touch interface and a Wi-Fi integration that automatically sends and receives data on the machine functioning to and from the cloud-based platform.  

Design-wise, the LaCimbaliM200 stands apart from its predecessors with an updated C in keeping with the evolution of the brand silhouette. Furthermore, the soft touch filter holders have been inclined to better control every movement.  

The London Coffee Festival will feature tastings, workshops, and demonstrations by some of the world's best baristas, allowing attendees to learn from the best in the industry.
