LEON is set to open three new sites across London as part of plans to operate a total of 100 stores by the end of this year.  
 

Having recently launched new outlets in Angel, Waterloo Bridge and Kensington, new stores in Brixton, Euston Road and Battersea are due to open soon ahead of further launches in Clapham and Southbank before the end of 2022. 
 

LEON currently operates more than 80 stores across the UK, as well as three outlets in the Netherlands.

Even though we’ve since expanded throughout the UK, and even further afield, LEON will always have an affinity with London and offer an experience that is absolutely suited to city life. This is why expanding across the city, and catering to more and more Londoners, is something that’s so exciting for us at Leon. LEON has also expanded outside of London with recent store launches in Harrogate and Milton Keynes, following the debut of new counter-style and the drive-thru formats in Leeds at the end of 2021. 
 

Alongside the growth of its retail store presence in the UK, LEON also launched its own branded self-serve coffee kiosks in 68 EG-operated petrol forecourts across the UK in July 2022. 
 

The company was acquired by EG Group in April 2021. The petrol station forecourt business, which also operates licensed branches of prominent brands such as Starbucks, Cinnabon and Greggs, reported foodservice profits increasing 11% to reach $177m in its second quarter of 2022.
