US coffee roaster Press Coffee is piloting a new in-store retail location within a Sprouts Farmers Market outlet.

The concept, located in Phoenix, Arizona, features a workspace area and full beverage menu including Press Coffee’s specialty drip and cold brew coffee, as well as hot and iced tea and nitro bold brew.

Additionally, the pilot location will offer a limited range of in-store retail items including whole and ground coffee beans.

Sprouts Farmers Market said Press Coffee aligned with its mission of providing ‘fresh, quality, sustainable and ethically sourced specialty products’.

“Press is very excited about this location and serving the surrounding community. Growing up in Arizona I have always been a Sprouts customer. Seeing the commitment from the Sprouts team to providing a quality experience for the customer makes it a perfect fit for Press and our ‘Quality Driven, Community Focused effort’,” said Jason Kyle, Co-Owner, Press Coffee.

Launched in 2008, the small batch coffee roaster will analyse the success of the Phoenix pilot before exploring additional Press Coffee bar sites within Sprouts Farmers Market's network of 380 US stores.

In addition to its retail offering, Press Coffee also manages its own coffee subscription delivery service and operates 10 standalone cafés across Arizona.
