Cooks Coffee Company has appointed Elena Garside as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect following the completion of its dual listing on the Aquis Stock Exchange on 2 November 2022.
The New Zealand-based company, which operates the Esquires and Triple Two coffee chains in the UK, highlighted Garside’s significant experience in financial and environment, social and governance (ESG) communications as key assets for the company moving forward.
A company statement paid further tribute to her knowledge of responsible investing and sustainable finance.
Garside is currently a Senior Consultant at London-based communications consultancy New Century Media, which emphasises her expertise in the fields of crisis management and corporate governance.

We have an ongoing commitment to objectives that will manage the organisation's impact directly and actively on society and environmental sustainability. Cooks Coffee Company currently operates 111 outlets under its Esquires and Triple Two Coffee brands, with plans to reach 120 stores globally by the start of 2023.
The company surpassed pre-pandemic sales in its second quarter of 2022, with trading for both its brands increasing 90% between April and June compared to the same period in 2021. The revenues in the quarter were 34% higher than 2019 sales.
